This Super Full Moon in Libra augurs a time of culmination and simultaneously it gives birth to a full new astrological cycle in the sign of Aries at this Equinox tomorrow, Thursday 21st of March 2019. Twice a year the sun crosses the celestial equator, when day and night are of equal length (in March and September). In the Southern Hemisphere the days will become shorter and the nights longer from here on.

In general the month of March has been a very unpredictable, uncertain month where we have been asked to surrender, to let go and find comfort in ‘not knowing’, something, that most of us feel rather uncomfortable with.

There is great beauty in surrendering to what is and in cultivating a deep inner knowing and gracefulness in times of great collective instabilities and inevitable changes in our inner and outer world.
We are diving in deeply… layers over layers, veils over veils have been lifted, revealing and becoming more of who we would like to become more of.
We might have been asking questions such as “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose here in this human incarnation?”
How can we shine our light so that we can see and feel the light at the end of the tunnel through our multi-dimensional beingness? How can we illumine the liminal as the microcosmic expression within the macrocosmic realm?

The strong Piscean themes with Mercury who is still in retrograde motion, stationing direct next week on the 28th of March conjoining with Neptune in Pisces have been inviting us to internally reset, reorient ourselves to the whole and know ourselves as the whole. With Neptune in Pisces there is a sense of completion, a communion with Spirit in that we might meet ourselves as The All with great compassion. We are clearing the space for something new to begin. This liminal time is both, a celebration of an ending of the old and the coming of the new.

Here we need to honour our unique dreams that are part of the collective dream. We are unique expressions of a collective dream. The boundaries might be blurry, the waters murky and we may not know whether what we feel is ours or someone else’s.

We might feel a creative tension that we can no longer ignore. This tension is necessary for a deep change, a deeper union that needs creative space. Uranus in Taurus shakes us up, awakens us and Mars in Taurus can help us to allow the necessary time and space for the process that is needed. We might feel great uncertainty when old structures crumble and ultimately fall. It all can feel very surreal and like a psychedelic trip in which we reflect the human condition.

The Vernal Equinox is at 0 degrees of Aries, opposing the Moon at 0 degrees of Libra. The main conversational theme for this Full Moon is through relationships, our dialogue between masculine and feminine, our inner and outer expressions of Anima and Animus. It is our equal and intimate others that act as a mirror, as a reflection to us. The Moon does not produce light of her own, she reflects and contains our early feeling memories.

Aries, ruled by Mars, initiates, is a leader and his message is “I want what I want when I want it” and going it alone comes natural to this heroic and questing archetype.

With the Sun courageously and heroically leaving behind the old and stepping into this new, fiery energy, we meet Chiron at 1 degree of Aries. Chiron so close to the Sun’s very first baby steps into a new sense of self might bring up some ego wounds and great vulnerability on this destined and unknown path. We may feel like the Fool in the Tarot that steps out with great innocence, in awe with The All and simultaneously we might feel the poisoned arrow right in our identity and our sense of self. The fire of Aries helps us to cleanse this wound, to look at what is no longer serving us and what needs to be let go off.

So many new beginnings wherever we look and Chiron will assist us in honouring our newness, the new energy within, an understanding and deep knowing. It takes courage to be ourselves and this Chironic vulnerability might bring up some ‘core rage’ first to courageously step out into the world and show up.
We might feel some push and pull between being independent with Venus in Aquarius making an exact square with Mars in Taurus.

How can we be free within relationships without ridding ourselves of relationships? Every relationship is a mirror, we give and we receive. We need to find the balance and with the Sun in Aries and Venus in Aquarius we may want to strike out independently and at the same time we wish to bring in our kindred spirits, the people that really get us and form healthy relationships not co-dependent ones.

The Equinox is all about balance, a balancing act of energies, equal day and equal night.

This creative tension between our inner feminine and masculine forces further invigorates our sexual, pioneering genius. Uranus in Taurus helps us to bring the sacred into the mundane, to honour our body as our temple and might highlight where we have severed our sacred bridge between the Heavens and the Earth. Where might we have castrated male or female qualities within us that we see as a divine reflection within The Other?
With Chiron opposing this Full Moon in early Libra we are healing old wounds through the mirror of these close encounters. Chiron in Aries helps us heal our confidence so that we can step out into the world, follow our calling so that we can be our own path and make the mark in the world that we are here for through fierce love!
With Saturn, Pluto and the South Node in Capricorn a reality check is assured. We know that our actions have consequences, that there is limitations, that we are mortal. We may feel some fears and anxieties through being part of a collective karma that operates on cause and effect.

Let us allow ourselves to be like the Fool in Tarot, to be on a journey of awe and to re-member the parts that we have severed and walk on the ‘holotropic path’, the path of wholeness that honours both the feminine and masculine static and dynamic principles. Maybe it is possible to know ourselves as uniquely creative and free individuals within equal relationships.

Uranus in Taurus – 2026 (first degree of Taurus for whole month of March), feeling of instability… earning money, stability, space, food, agriculture, global economics etc…
We are playing with the fundamental materials, raw nature…
Re-membering! Pain of Gaia, great healing
‘Shoulds’ that are oppressive to our individual nature, divine feminine, inner child… conditioning that limits… beyond
Body – nervous system!

Saturn – Uranus = Have I lost my innocence!? How can I be mature and innocent at the same time!?

Reconnecting with our innocence!

The words ‘death’ and ‘birth’ form a new word which is BREATH. This new way of breathing allows us to surrender to what seem to be opposites… Let us honour and celebrate the threshold, the profound time and space between ‘in and out breath’ where we know ourselves as the centre of our own mandala.
